Branding

Branding was the name of the game in this week's PPD lecture. But what exactly is branding? Well according to a lot of sources the general description of branding is

The process involved in creating a unique name and image for a product in the consumers' mind, mainly through usage of a consistent theme. Branding aims to create a presence in the market that attracts and retains loyal customers.

So for this module we need to look at creating a number of items, including a logo, business card, letterhead, website and portfolio. Luckily over the summer I've spent a bit of time redesigning my personal website, which has included a new logo/title bar which will become the main part of my branding.
